Ross Bergman

Ross Bergman has more than 30 years' experience as an Information Technology and Security Professional in both leadership and hands-on roles in several industries including: healthcare, manufacturing, education, and SaaS. He is a SANS Principal Instructor and the Lead Author for SEC501: Advanced Security Essentials – Enterprise Defender, and also teaches SEC401: Security Essentials - Network, Endpoint, and Cloud. Ross earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an advanced degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, Ross has earned numerous Information Security certifications including the GX-CS, GREM, GCED, GSEC, and GCLD from GIAC and the CISSP from ISC2.
