Matt Nappi is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Stony Brook University, one of only 69 AAU US research universities, and the owner/operator of Long Game Cyber, LLC. He is an instructor for SEC566: Implementing and Auditing CIS Controls, a member of CIS, MS-ISAC, REN-ISAC and the GIAC Advisory Board. Matt has extensive IT and security experience, including previous roles as a Sr. IT Security Analyst and Sr. Systems Administrator at a large medical system. He holds multiple certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, and over 9 GIAC credentials including GSEC, GCIH, and GSTRT.
