Foster Nethercott is a United States Marine Corps and Afghanistan Veteran with nearly a decade of experience in the Cybersecurity field. He holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and Security and a Master of Science in Information Security Engineering with a specialization in Digital Forensics from SANS Technology Institute, where he wrote his whitepaper on using AI to generate novel malware capable of evading traditional security controls. On top of his impressive education, he holds 25 industry certifications across various areas, such as penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, and programming. He owns his own Security Consulting firm, Fortisec, and is also a course author for SANS Technology Institute, where he is writing the new course SEC 535 Offensive Artificial Intelligence.
