Ben Allen

Ben Allen is the co-author of SEC540: Cloud Native Security and DevSecOps Automation and brings more than two decades of information security experience to the course. He applied his knowledge in information security to problem domains ranging from packet analysis to policy development during his time as a senior member of the SANS information security team and on the security team at the University of Minnesota. Ben was instrumental in shaping security best practices for DevSecOps and successfully operationalized DevOps techniques for security teams, resulting in improved release times and system stability. He holds numerous GIAC certifications and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
