SANS Institute Digital Accessibility

Our Policy & Commitment

At SANS Institute, we are committed to accessibility, diversity and inclusion. As part of that commitment, we are making efforts to strengthen our capabilities to provide SANS students, faculty, administrators, staff and members of the SANS community an accessible digital user experience including persons with disabilities. In doing so, SANS has a goal to comply with applicable accessibility regulations including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) titles I, II and III, Section 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the most current published versions of WCAG Levels A and AA.

Digital Accessibility Statement

Our target accessibility standard is the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and Level AA. As we work toward meeting these standards, we have dedicated resources to our digital accessibility compliance effort, which includes coordination, as well as designing, developing and testing SANS Institute digital properties, websites and online services for conformance to WCAG 2.1 standards. We also collaborate with advocacy groups, industry partners and vendors to identify areas that need improvement.
